Who broke the baby?
Watching Jesse play when he’s in his own little world is so cute and often hilarious.
The other afternoon as I was watching him play he just kept lying down on the floor, taking a lot of care to make sure he didn’t bump is head. Getting up and doing it again. All the while having a little chat to himself.
It was so adorably funny that I just had to grab my phone and record it.
It’s been a while since our last milestones video.
But since our last one we’ve had broken laptops… no access to video editing software… and endless shopping trips trying to get ourselves sorted out again.
So with all that, we totally missed doing Jesse’s 12 month milestone video.
BUT…
It may have worked out for the best. Because instead of doing a 12 month milestone video, we have instead decided to do a 12 – 15 month video. And with that, I think we might continue to do these until he turns the big 2!!!

So Jesse loves bath time!
Whenever he hears the bath filling up, he heads straight to the bathroom to watch the water spurting out of the tap and to wait until he gets to hop in.
In fact, he has always seemed to enjoy his baths, even when he was a little baby.
But what he loves more than just regular bath time… is bath time with Aunty Lia.
Yup, LOVES IT!!!
As you can see in this video, Jesse and Aunty Lia have a lot of fun at bath time. And then mummy and daddy have a lot of fun mopping up the water from all over the bathroom when bath time has finished.
So… One of the long running discussions in our household has been who is Jesse’s favourite? Mum or Dad?
Well, we may have finally gotten to the bottom of it with Jesse telling Renee first hand, who he thinks the best parent is!!!

A few days before we celebrated Jesse’s first birthday with our family and friends at his party, we spent his actual birthday together as a little family.
Amongst the routine of meals and bath time we opened presents, played together and enjoyed a picnic in the warm sunshine.
It was a perfect day.
On the verge of walking, talking and world domination. Here is Jesse’s 11 months milestones video.

We can’t believe it has now been two years since our epic Euro adventure.
This day in 2014 saw us tick a massive item off our bucket list – seeing the Eiffel Tour. We also ate snails, visited the Sacre Coeur and the iconic Moulin Rouge. It was the first real opportunity to sight see on the trip as the first few days were taken up mostly with being on planes, trains or automobiles.
We are edging closer and closer to Jesse’s first birthday. Eek!
His tenth month saw the end of breastfeeding, more teeth and a weird love of peas.
Our bub turning 9 months feels like a milestone in itself. He’s been out in the world for the same amount of time he was in my belly.
Two more little white teeth poked through pink gums this month. But not without some tantrums and sleepless nights.
One of Jesse’s new favourite games is to crawl around the house while being ‘chased’ by someone.
Every few seconds he turns back to check he’s still being followed and giggles loudly with glee upon seeing his chaser hot on his heels.
