Footage Friday: 3 Months Postpartum Update

I managed to get a few minutes to sit and record our three month postpartum update.

It’s a little update on how mum and Bub are doing. And it’s only about a month late so we’re doing well!

*Yes, there is a bit cut out of the video about how Jesse is adjusting to the new addition. My bad! But rest assured he’s coping just fine. My editing skills however…

Photo Friday: Baby Barton Diaries – The Final Chapter

What’s this? Another video for Photo Friday? You betcha!

Throughout our pregnancy, we uploaded a series of videos called ‘Baby Barton Diaries’. Well, as you are all aware, our pregnancy journey came to an end just over 4 weeks ago when we welcomed little Jesse Jack to the world.

Yesterday we recorded the final Baby Barton Diary entry where we talk about the labour and delivery, our experiences at the hospital and my infamous ‘Cigars, Scotch and Cards’ night to celebrate the birth of Jesse.

Because of it’s length, it ended up becoming 2 separate videos (Part One and Part Two). So that said, we hope you enjoy the 2 part finale of our ‘Baby Barton Diaries’ video series.

Part one:

Part Two:

If you are interested in seeing any of the previous videos we did throughout our pregnancy, you can check them out on the Baby Barton YouTube Playlist HERE.

Birthdays and Memories

Today is Kaine’s 31st birthday (and mine was earlier in the month) and despite having a lovely day it is very different to how we spent this day last year.

One year ago today we woke up in Switzerland, had lunch in Italy and ended the day in France.  It is hard to believe it has been a year since our Euro trip so, as a bit of fun, here is a flashback to the vlog for how we spent Kaine’s birthday last year.

We had such an amazing adventure.  We started with a 9 day Top Deck tour followed by a glorious week on the Amalfi Coast before exploring Florence, Venice, Prague and Paris.  We had an absolutely incredible time creating unforgettable memories with great friends as we ate, drank and saw the sights for five wonderful weeks.

You can check out all of our Euro trip vlogs in the Euro Trip 2014 playlist on YouTube.
